NATEL showed its long-standing commitment to community during 2013 when employees and leaders supported nine charities with more than $2,000 in contributions.
Using a “small change adds up to major change” approach, NATEL employees donated a tip for charity when they got coffee at the electronics manufacturer’s Chatsworth facility. NATEL matched the employee contributions by 200 percent. Every month, the company chose a new charity, and by year’s end, NATEL turned simple acts into significant charitable support.
“Since NATEL was founded here in Chatsworth in 1975, we have strongly believed in supporting our community and the non-profits that serve our citizens in need,” said President and CEO Sudesh Arora. “We promote good corporate citizenship in every way we can.”
NATEL and its employees supported these charities in 2013: Kats Krusaders National MS Society, Bladder Cancer Advocacy NE, One Drop, For The Troops, Doctors Without Borders, Alzheimer’s Foundation of North America, Child Find of America, Action Against Hunger—USA and Smile Train.
